ABOUT VIBE
Founded in 1995, VIBE Dance Competition is a choreography dance competition held in Southern California for junior and adult dance teams around the world.
VIBE JRs Dance Comp is our junior competition featuring dancers under 18. VIBE is our adult competition featuring adult teams.
This show features competitive and exhibition acts, and competition teams are judged based on choreography, staging, performance, theme, and more by a panel of 5 - 7 judges.
VIBE Dance Competition, founded in 1995, strives to connect the California dance community with the world, bridging the local talent with the global audience.

VIBE DANCE COMPETITION (ADULTS)
VIBE Dance Competition is the adult division choreography competition. A panel of 7 judges will judge each performance based on execution, performance, and creativity.
Any team interested in performance at VIBE must apply through an application. The staff will review each application and select 15 – 17 competition teams to compete at the show.
Before applying, each competitive team must meet the following requirements:

A team bio and social media links

No more than 3 dancers under the age of 18

Your team must have 10 or more dancers

A link to your most recent performance (Note: we highly recommend a performance video. Concept videos or studio shot performances are usually not accepted)
The rules for this competition will be provided only to teams accepted to compete.
Each team member will be expected to pay a registration fee upon acceptance.

VIBE JRS DANCE COMPETITION (YOUTH)
VIBE JRs Dance Competition is the junior division choreography competition.
This competition features junior teams (with dancers under the age of 18), as well as exhibition teams between each competitive act. A panel of 5 judges will judge each performance based on execution, performance, and creativity.
Any team interested in performance at VIBE Jrs. must apply through an application. The staff will review each application and select teams to compete and perform at the show.
Before applying, each competitive team must meet the following requirements:

Each dancer's date of birth must not be BEFORE January 1, 2001

Your team must have 15 or more dancers

A link to your most recent performance (Note: we highly recommend a performance video. Concept videos or studio shot performances are usually not accepted)
The rules for this competition will be provided only to teams accepted to compete. Each team member will be expected to pay a registration fee upon acceptance.

Currently VIBE is partnered with Culture Shock LA, an organization that supports local community youth arts and dance programs. Kinjaz is another partner, local friends that share the passion of dance.
Culture Shock Los Angeles (CSLA) is a dance organization that educates and entertains through dance. They can be seen taking part of many community events around Los Angeles and around the world.
Kinjaz is a group of dancers known for their signature intricate choreography style and creative storytelling through dance and new media.
